Yes. Stealth Vision® has a Federal Firearms License (FFL) and can receive your rifle by mail. We will mount the scope on your rifle and sight it in for you. This is an additional charge, but well worth it as you will receive your rifle back “long range ready.”
After you mount your scope on your rifle and sight it in (we recommend 200 yards for your zero), we will need you to shoot some data for us. This is explained in your owner's manual. Set your turret to zero and have this dead on at 200 yards. Then we need the MOA that you actually shot at 300, 500 and 800 yards. You should download a ballistic chart from somewhere like jbmballistics.com. This is a good start, and if you don’t have a range to actually shoot from, you can send us this chart and we will customize a turret for your bullet. For peak performance you need the highest BC bullet that shoots well in your rifle. To laser etch your turret, we will need the MOA drop for at least three distances; more data is always better. If you send your rifle to us, we can do all this for you at an additional cost.
The Stealth Vision® scope will get your rifle to shoot the best it possibly can. If your rifle shoots a three-shot group in a half-inch at 100 yards, then it will shoot a 5-inch group at 1,000 yards. If you shoot a 1-inch group at 100 yards, your rifle will shoot a 10-inch group at 1,000 yards. Now, this is not bad, as it would shoot a 5-inch group at 500, which is in the kill zone of most animals. Stealth Vision® shooting experts will help you find the best bullet for your rifle. Most shoot much better after finding the right ammo.
