As the name implies, a fully-equipped 1200-yard shooting range is a core capability of the facility. Large metal plate targets are permanently situated at various distances so shooters can try targets as close as 100 yards and work all the way up to the ¾ of a mile, 1200 yard mark.
Each of the 4 rifle platforms we offer is customized and accurized at the lab. Each rifle is first function-tested before preceding through various other stages of enhancement. Each rifle goes through a zero-tolerance scope mounting process to ensure the scope is absolutely level and locked down. Barrels are then expertly seasoned and broken in with repeat shots and cleanings before advancing to try-outs on the range for load selection and data recording.
Ultimately, a load is selected for the hunting application. Data for the load is entered into a program that drives the precision turret manufacturing process resulting in turret calibrations marked in yards to ensure the utmost in simplicity and reliability in the field.
The whole tuning process and feature enhancements applied to the rifle platforms takes hours of diligent work. But the rifle system that ships out of this lab is one that will instill the highest level of confidence in its ability to perform under extreme, long-range conditions.
Lastly, as a value-added service, Stealth Vision technicians will diagnose your rifle’s performance and try to optimize its accuracy with some of the same techniques that apply in custom-tuning our complete custom rifle systems. We will give you a factual assessment of our findings and suggest fixes where needed.
