When it comes to selecting a turn-key long-range rifle package capable of delivering precision accuracy at 1000 yards, Stealth Vision Optics is the clear winner. My recent purchase of a Seekins 7 mag with 5×30-56 glass has far exceeded expectations, providing me with the most exceptional shooting experience of my life. Right after receiving my custom rifle package from Doc, I was driving 3”groupings at 1000 yards, and I have since successfully taken multiple animals at distances of up to 780 yards. The state-of-the-art anti-cant technology, custom turret, and superior optical clarity of this glass set a new standard in the industry. Stealth Vision Optics has effectively made the impossible shot possible, revolutionizing the world of long-range shooting.

I totally relied on Stealth Vision for my Altai Argali hunt in Mongolia. They mounted one of their super bright SVX 5-30X56 rifles copes on a Blue Mountain Precision in 7 PRC which they accurized with a load that could hit targets out to 1000+ yards. My guides were using my Stealth spotting scope and binos and located a promising ram on Day 4. We stalked as close as we could and waited. When he finally stood up, I took him with one shot at 550 yards. No question, this rifle is going back to Mongolia for Gobi and Hangai Argali and to Tajikistan for Markhor next year.

I am a shooter who has acquired 3 scopes and 1 rifle/scope combo over the past 2 years from Stealth Vision. That company’s work ethic and knowledge of optics is unsurpassed and well known (and obvious) in the industry. More importantly, the care and character with which Joe and Doc take care of their clients is unsurpassed, based on my experience … and I have dealt with a ton of optic companies. Whenever I had a problem or needed assistance Joe was always there. Joe spent many extra hours at the range shooting data and trying to perfectly sight in even the most stubborn rifle. Doc often took time out of his busy “medical” day to explain scope related issues to me. Both would answer my inquiries anytime from anywhere they were, be it the range or from some airport in the middle of nowhere. For me, the character of the people I deal with is important, and these folks possess true character. I feel qualified to render this opinion because I believe I am a good judge of character, being a retired Judge myself.

The hour was late, rain was falling, and the monstrous black bear back in the dark woods!
Frankly had I been using a scope other than my Stealth Vision SVT, with the finest “glass” possible, its 34mm tube, and operable lighted reticle (near impossible to see conventional black crosshairs against a black coat of hair) I would not have been able to take this 7-feet 8-inches squared Canadian black bear. Truly hunter’s scopes whether shooting long range or black bear in dark, close cover!

Hunting red stag, whether abroad or back in Texas, it’s important to use an appropriate caliber/round, accurate rifle and best possible hunting optic allowing for ranges close and extreme; in this instance a 7mm PRC Mossberg Patriot equipped with an experimental rapid heat releasing technology barrel from Avient; shooting Hornady’s Precision Hunter 175-grain ELD-X, and topped with a Stealth Vision SVT scope! A perfect combination!

I’ve been involved in the outdoor industry for 40-plus years, and every once in a blue moon, a manufacturer will introduce a new product that is a game-changer.
Amazingly, I was able to field test two such new products during a December whitetail hunt in Texas…
The ammo? Hornady has launched a series of PRC cartridges and I was able to use the 6.5 PRC loaded with the ELD-X bullet for the first time on this hunt. The PRC series of cartridges has grabbed the interest of long-range shooters, and there’s a reason why: they perform at long range as advertised.
But my testimonial here focuses on the optic used: The Stealth Vision 5-25X riflescope. Simply amazing…
Let me start by saying I’ve mounted every conceivable optic on all types of hunting rifles, and this optic is right up there with the very best riflescopes made.
And having been in hunting camps on all five continents, I’ve seen my fair share of hunters who have carried into camp a multi-thousand dollar custom-built rifle topped with a $200 scope.
If you’re looking to maximize and squeeze the last drop of accuracy out of your prized hunting firearm and load, going the cheap route simply won’t work.
The last couple years I’ve also come to the realization you can’t stop the aging curve. I’m 72 years old. I’m an old dog. I’ve got tired, old eyes. I’ve had cataract surgery twice. I’ve had toxoplosmosis, which has impacted my vision over the years.
I’ve been reminded way too many times I simply can’t turn back the clock…although I keep trying. At least Stealth Vision has made it seem “possible…”
One of my greatest fears in recent years is that as my vision continues to “fade,” I won’t be able to go afield and feed my passion for hunting big game. Up until this December hunt, I thought my days afield were numbered—that is, until I sat at the bench and looked thru the Stealth optic for the first time while checking the zero on several rifles.
It was an eye-opener, a game-changer. It was almost as if Stealth’s scope had allowed me to step back in time by offering gin-clear glass that allowed me to see as if my vision had returned to 20/20.
I wanted to learn more about Stealth. I discovered the Texas-based company was founded by a renowned eye surgeon, Dr. John McCall, who “reimagined riflescope design.”
My good friend, Larry Weishuhn, summarized succinctly, what Dr. McCall has done: “For the first time a riflescope was designed starting with the eye/optic nerve to the scope instead of starting by designing a scope to the eye.”
As this country boy interprets, I guess you could say it’s “reverse engineering.”
I know, the proof is in the pudding…
Long story short, I had about 10 minutes of shooting light left on my deer hunt, but what little light was left was fading fast, and a light drizzle had begun to fall. We spotted a buck grazing on the edge of an open field. A friend by my side with rangefinger quietly said, “460 yards.”
I thought no way in hell could I make this shot…but the confidence I had gained from my range session shooting steel at 1200 yards, and by cranking up the variable scope to 20X, I suddenly felt more comfortable from a steady rest than I had in years.
“He’s drifting away…my friend said, “If you’re going to shoot you better….BOOM
I had squeezed the trigger when the buck had paused and looked back my way. He disappeared immediately…not into the woods, but had dropped right in his tracks.
What seemed like a half-day hike out to where my trophy lay, I simply couldn’t believe my eyes. I was speechless. Stealth Vision, along with Hornady’s PRC cartridge, had made me realize maybe I had actually found the “fountain of youth” in regard to my vision thanks to the staggering quality of the Stealth riflescope.
And to verify the almost miraculous moment where my vision reminded me of my days without having to wear glasses as a teenager , I popped a doe off shooting sticks at 480 yards the next evening…
And yes, I had witnesses!
The two longest killing shots I ever made on a whitetail deer came after I had spent the last 50-plus years hunting big game on God’s green earth.
Thank you, Stealth Vision, for rejuvenating my hunting career, and helping me literally see what I’d been missing the last 15 years. I can now confidently plan a few more big game hunts this fall and not be concerned about “vision issues.”
How do you place a dollar figure on that fact and on an optic with such wonderful qualities and features? You don’t. It’s literally priceless…
